Simple Pleasures: Neutral look with a splash of Neon

This past weekend was BEAUTIFUL. Sunshine makes me happy, so I took advantage of the lovely weather to go outdoors and enjoy some of life's simple pleasures. I am still in the excitement phase of discovering a new city, so it's always an adventure to me to discover what Los Angeles has to offer.

I visited the California African American Museum. If you are ever in L.A., I recommend visiting, it's a great museum with awesome exhibitions. I am somewhat of a nerd, so it was fun to me to learn about the first black-owned life insurance company on the west, to read about some of the first African-American playwrights and to view the microscopic work of artist Willard Wigan. I also enjoyed my favorite ice-cream - Coldstone's Strawberry Cheesecake Yum!
