Blogger Feature: Style Chic 360

I am excited to introduce  the Black Fashion Bloggers' first feature, Inez of Style Chic 360!!!   I've been following Inez's blog for awhile now, and I love her fabulous stand out style. She's the epitome of fierce. I will let Inez speak for herself below. Check her out!

So tell us more about yourself, who is Inez?
I'm a 28 year old blogger from Detroit, MI.

How did you get your start in blogging, why did you decide to start a style/fashion blog?
I stalked fashion blogs religiously for months before starting my own blog. After breaking up with my boyfriend I needed something to lift my spirits, so I thought starting a blog would be something positive I could do to keep my mind off things. Through my blog I have been able to show the world my love of fashion, and I must say I have truly enjoyed my blogging experience thus far!  My blog has truly become my place of peace and positivity.

How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as evolving. I love many styles and it's hard to characterize my style. I would definitely say my style is colorful, fun, flirty and sophisticated. Of course, I hope it lives up to my blog title and is stylish and chic.

What are three must haves a woman needs for her closet?
A great shoe, well fitting undergarments and an outfit or piece that makes her feel beautiful!

What trends in fashion/beauty are you currently enjoying?
I tend not to follow trends but the one trend I'd say that has stuck with me this season is the blazer trend. I've thrifted so many great blazers lately and they have become a staple in my closet.

Anything else?
I'd like to say thank you for taking the time to out to feature me and introduce my blog to your readers. I think supporting others and is what blogging is all about!

Welcome to Black Fashion Bloggers

Hi, I am Nika, creator and author of Irie Chic, a blog depicting my personal style.  For the past two years, blogging about style/fashion has opened up a whole new world to me, and I am excited to say that I am really excited by the black bloggers who are showcasing their style or love of fashion in blogosphere. In a field where black people often have to break down many doors that are closed to them, fashion/style blogging offers us a chance to portray and showcase our individual style or fashion viewpoint through our lenses.  The fact is, fashion and style have been very important in many sectors of the black community for a long time.  Many of us have fond memories of Easter Sunday outfits that would give couture a run for their money; or we have observed the art of making one dress look ten different ways, i.e., the power of accessorizing. Further, black urban style has found its way to runway.
The primary focus of Black Fashion Bloggers will be to highlight black bloggers in blogosphere, but I will also be posting lifestyle tidbits, a little black fashion history, black trendsetters of the past and today among other things. Welcome and I hope you enjoy!
